Ingredients
- ⅛ cup flour
- 1 cup milk or cream
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Sliced bread
- Heidi’s Jam
- Whipped cream
- Maple syrup
Directions
- In a large bowl, whisk all ingredients together except for flour and bread.
- Sift flour into mixture and combine.
- Preheat griddle to medium and lightly butter.
- Dip bread in custard mix, allowing it to soak up a good amount of the liquid, being careful not to tear bread when flipping it and moving it to griddle.
- Fry each side on the griddle for about 4 minutes or until golden brown.
- Stack desired amount of pieces and top with Heidi’s Jam flavor of your choosing and whipped cream. Maple syrup optional.
